Surprise Package

Cyndi:  We always have so much to be thankful for, but sometimes it's hard to think of something with pictures for Thankful Thursday.

Micah:  This week, though, we wanted to share the surprise package we got from last week.

Cameron:  Yes,a great surprise.  It made our day but Jan wouldn't let us touch anything until she got pictures.

Rusty:  As you might guess, her name is not Speedy and it has taken her almost a week to take pictures.

Percy:  Last minute pictures.  She was rushing in order to give Buddy a bath before sundown, so please forgive her ... um, not sure what to call them ... strange pictures?

Sam:  Do I look happy?  I'm not.  Jan stuck these sunglasses on me and made me look at her.  I look ridiculous!  The sun and shade streaks make for one dark lens, one brown lens with an eye.  It doesn't help that Marcus is standing behind me laughing.

Merci:  I wasn't part of the sunglasses shoot, so I guess I'll narrate this picture. This is what was in the box. Jan gets the towel, mug, sunglasses and minors.  We get the majors -treats!  Cat treats ... dog treats.  Yum, yum. Can we open them now, Jan?

Buddy:  I look even stupider than Sam did in the glasses.  At least they sat on his nose.  My nose is so much thinner they have to sit on top of my head to stay on.  But look at the difference in the size of our heads.  Merci didn't even have to try them on.  She'd have had to wear them on her hips.  No, Jan, we're not saying you have a big head.  We're saying Merci has a small one.

Marcus:  Hey, dudes and dudettes, are ya ready to par-tay?   I think these glasses were made to fit a bulldog head.  They fit me and Sam like they were made for us.  What do ya think?  Uh, no, Jan, I didn't say you have a bulldog head.  I just said .. oh, I think I better plead the fifth.

I Dare You

Flashback.  Cotton had tortitude, an I-dare-you-to-try-it glare.  She claimed this pet house Ginger Jasper sent us a few years ago and none of us dared argue with her.  She and GJ are both over the bridge now.  :(

Size and Colors

Merci:  Since we blog, we'd like to talk about blogging today.

Cyndi:  Yes, we can make our blog be anything we want it to be.

Cameron:  And that makes us happy.  But we also have to consider our readers and make them happy too.

Micah:  Blog readers are like guests in our home.  We want them to feel at home and be comfortable.

Percy:  Oh, Jan says to tell you, if we're going to invite you all to visit our blog, to remind you to wipe the mud off your paws before you enter.

Sam: We all try to make our blog as inviting as possible.  A fun thene, an interesting background, lots of photos, and so forth.

Rusty:  But sometimes we overlook something important and discourage readers.  Your choice of fonts and text colors are every bit as important as an eye-catching blog banner and background.

Buddy:  Yes, sadly, we have visited a number of blogs where we struggle to read the very small text or the fat, light color whirly font, or the small gray text that fades into the background and is sometimes impossible to read, even with a magnifying glass, or .... You get the idea.

Marcus:  I happen to have great eyesight, so I don't have any problem yet.  But the Funny Farmers are older and can't see as well as I can.  A number of other bloggers are older and have vision problems. Even some of the younger bloggers do.

Percy:  A reader doesn't feel very welcome and might not return when, for whatever reason, he (or she) can't read the blog post you worked so hard to publish.

Buddy:  We don't have any particular blogs in mind as we write this.  We just know we've been running into more we can't read. Too small, too light text is a visit-breaker. The colors you choose for all of your fonts, including the hover and visited links, can mean the difference between your posts being legible and being unreadable.

Cyndi: And even if a visitor has good eyesight, he could have eyestrain from too many hours on the computer trying to make a living.  Help him relax and enjoy his visit on your blog.  Take an honest look at your blog and imagine yourself as a visitor.  How legible is your text?

Cameron:  If we haven't visited your blog as often as we once did, please don't assume this is why.  There are currently nine of us to wait on and provide for and Jan isn't getting any younger.  It takes her longer to do anything, and we only get "leftover" computer time. Many days she is on the computer from early morning until late at night and we barely get an opportunity to do a fast post.

Rusty:  We have been trying to make our blog a happy, fun place to visit.  We hope you will keep coming back. And if you ever have a problem reading our text, let us know.

Marcus:  To close with a smile, here's a recycled photo of Jan photographing some treats before giving them to us dogs.  And there I am photobombing the shot - again.  Jan used to find my eyes and ears in most of the photos she took. I really am photogenic, aren't I!

Healthy Teeth and Gums

Sam:  Do you see what I see?

Sam and Marcus
Marcus:  Yes.  I've already tried to snitch them but Jan is tight-fisted.

Sam:  You're lucky she didn't catch a picture of your tongue.  You've been licking your chops repeatedly.

Buddy:  Those are medium to large grain free Natural Balance Dental Chews.  We got the pumpkin & chicken meal formula with papaya.

Merci:  They're made with pumpkin, potato starch, chicken meal, glycerin, papaya, natural chicken flavor, lecithin, beta-carotene (color), parsley, alfalfa, sorbic acid (preservative and a long name (source of Vitamin C).

Marcus:  They are supposed to help reduce plaque and tartar, freshen breath and be easy to chew and digest.   Did you see the ridges in them?  Neat, huh?

Marcus, Sam and little Merci

Sam:  So do we get to try one?

Merci:  Don't forget me back here behind the guys.

Buddy:  Why don't you come up here and sit with the rest of us?

Merci:  Because I have more sense.  You'd run me over and squash me when the treats are distributed.

Merci, Sam's tail, Buddy, Marcus

Merci:  You don't have a very good aim, Jan.  You missed me and Marcus sprinted for it.  He's eating my dental chew.

Sam:  The rest of us are closing in for a grab and run, if necessary.  Notice my tail is wagging so fast it's a white blur.

Buddy:  It's about time!  Munch, munch.

Merci:  Grrrrrrrrowl!  You get away, Marcus.  You already stole one from me.

Sam, Marcus

Sam:  Crumbs.  Did Buddy leave any crumbs?

Buddy, Sam, Marcus, Merci (steps)

Merci:  Hey, guys, the bag is over here on the steps.

Sam:  I'm on my way!

Marcus:  I don't care if the bag says we're not supposed to get more than one a day.  I'm a growing boy.  I need edibles.

Buddy:  Jan wanted us to try these because they are supposed to help support healthy teeth and gums.

Marcus: sent us a bag to review --

Merci: I think you might want to clarify that statement. did not send us a bag to review.  They sent us a bag of Natural Balance Pumpkin & Chicken Meal Formula with Papaya Dental Chews for review.

Sam: We were not paid for this post.  Any opinions expressed are purely our own.

Hammock vs Bean Bag

Percy:  We are just going to do a quick post to make you smile today.

Buddy:  Last week we posted the 2 videos of the cat with his new hammock.

Cyndi:  This week we have a short video with two bear cubs in a hammock.

Merci: Can they make it into the hammock without a mishap?

Micah:  And can they stay in it?

Rusty:  Watch the fun and don't be afraid to laugh.

Marcus:  Hey, guys, why don't we ask Jan if we can have a hammock.  They look like such fun.

Sam:  You think you're so smart jumping over the gates Jan uses to keep us out of the bedroom.

Cameron:  I'd sure like to see you leap in a hammock and fall out the other side like the cat in the video did.

Marcus:  Oh, I forgot about that.  How about a bean bag instead?

If the video doesn't play, click here.

Happy Dance for Cameron

Cyndi:  Yeah, we're all doing the happy dance today.

Merci:  Aren't we going to tell everyone why?

Sam:  Well, I'm not doing a happy dance.  I'm too big and lumbering.  But I'm doing a happy dance in my head.

Micah:  But why?  Aren't we going to tell readers why?

Rusty:  Of course we are.  It's just so much fun to make everyone wait.

Marcus:  We're just having some fun because twice this month Jan has forgotten a special day.  First Percy's birthday on the 9th and then on the 22nd, Merci's birthday/gotcha/sprung from prison day.

Buddy:  We can't believe it but after 2 misses in one month, Jan finally looked at her calendar and remembered that today is a special day too.  And she prepared for it.

Percy:  Yes, it's Cameron's 10th birthday. He was born inside the house next door, just 2 weeks after tiny Percy was found abandoned at the mill by none other than our own Merci.

Cameron:  Thank you, all of you, but, Percy, you might want to make it clear I was not abandoned by Merci; I was rescued by Merci.

Percy:  Yes, yes, of course.  We wouldn't want anyone to misunderstand.  Clear communication is so important.

Buddy:  Because Jan has an ear infection and ran out of steam, we're going to use Cameron's birthday graphic as our Caturday Art picture.

Merci:  Jan loves to play with colors.  If you can't say anything else about her idea of art, you must admit it's colorful.

Cyndi:  Also, we'll use it as our Sepia Saturday picture.

Rusty:  And as our Black and White Sunday picture.  This is the vivid landscape style.

FFHT and Siameezers

Micah:  We decided to try something new and do a Fractured Fryday Hairy Tails (FFHT) post, which is hosted by Murphy and Stanley

Cameron:  But we're not very good at writing stories so we've had a problem coming up with one.

Merci:  We have to use a specific phrase in the story.  Do any of you have an idea?

Percy:  *races into room and slides to a stop*  Stop the presses!  Buddy and I have solved the problem.

Buddy:  *panting*  Yes, we hope you haven't started writing anything yet.  A package was just delivered.  Jan brought it inside and left it by the door.

Rusty:  But how does that help us?  It's supposed to be a scary tale, isn't it?  What's so scary about a box?

Marcus:  Is it a box of treats for us?  That wouldn't be scary.

Cyndi:  Unless it's a box of spiders.  I don't like spiders.

Sam:  Why would anyone pay to ship us a box of spiders?

Percy:  No one did, Sam.  But there is something in the box that is very scary.

Micah:  What would anyone send us a box of stuff that's scary?

Buddy:  Jan ordered it.

Marcus:  Jan ordered something?  Yes, that is scary.  *chuckles*

Rusty:  So what is in the box?

Percy:  Come see for yourself.  It will scare the socks off of all of you.

Sam:  We don't wear socks.  But this sounds serious.  Do I need to wear my Thundershirt for this?

Cameron:  If it will scare the fleas off of us, I'm game.

Cyndi:  I'm starting to get a bit nervous with all this scary talk.  I'm not sure I want a fright.

Percy:  Aw, don't be wimps.  Come on.  Buddy, you lift that flap and I'll lift this one.  Gather round, all of you, for the surprise of your life.

Buddy:  When I opened the box, I was startled to find...

Chorus:  Eeeeeeeek!

Percy:  I wonder what caused them to run away?  There's nothing in the box but new business cards with our Funny Farmers picture on them.

Buddy:  I know.  Do you think it's something we said?  They didn't even wait around for us to tell them the scary part is that Jan remembered to order them for us.

Cyndi:  Today is also our Mousebreath interview day.  Pipo and Minko, the cats from WeBeesSiameezers, are new to blogging.  This is a great opportunity for other bloggers to get acquainted with them.  They are Catster refugees.  (Sorry Catster, your loss is blogging's gain.)

Reading Glasses Read

Merci: My birthday was Tuesday.  Mika, Lexus, Coda and their mom from Love is being owned by a husky sent me this birthday card yesterday. Isn't it pretty? I don't mind it being late.  Jan is always late, so to us late is on time.  Thank you so much, friends.  I love it.

Sam:  We're rushing to do a post again.  Seems like we're always up late and rushing.

Cameron:  Many of you bloggers know what that is like.  You sit up late doing the same thing.

Cyndi:  That's why our friend Mark finds such strange typos in our posts at times.

Rusty:  Yes we read it through repeatedly and it looks fine to us.

Micah:  That's because we read what we intended to write, not what is actually there.

Buddy:  Perhaps we should start borrowing Jan's reading glasses when we post.

Percy:  What for?  She can't read any better with them than we can without them.

Marcus:   Well, if Mark can see our typos, his reading glasses must really read.  Why don't we just borrow his?

An Irresistible Face

Buddy:  We' thought we would share a dog shame photo today.

Percy:  How does one ruin a camera while taking a selfie?

Cyndi:  I don't know, but the camera can't be a point and shoot.  It must be a point and break.

Merci:  How could anyone resist those eyes, that face?

Cameron:  You're too old for him, Merci.  He's only 9 months old.  You're older than that in years.

Merci:  Thanks very much for pointing that out, Cameron.  You've really made my day.

Cameron:  Oh, no problem, Merci.  Always glad to give you a compliment.

Micah:  I think Merci was being facetious.

Cameron:  That's okay.  She knows she's welcome.

Sam:  Am I the only one around here that has no idea what is going on?

Rusty:  Oh, no, you are far from the only one.  In fact, I doubt any of us know what is going on.

Marcus:  *raises paw*  I know, I know.  Merci was making eyes at the broken camera pup and Cameron told her she is too old for him and -

Merci"  Marcus, if you say one more word, I'm going to pin a note to your chest that you talk too much.  I was not making eyes at the camera dog.  I merely commented that he's got an irresistible face, which meant I think he was forgiven by his human.

Marcus:  That's what I need, an irresistible face so I can get away with anything.

Buddy:  You better find one fast, kid.  I think Jan just discovered her sandwich is missing.

The photo can be found at

Guilt and Innocence

UPDATE:  Oh, dear, we did it again.  We auto published our post and forgot one of us has a birthday today.  It's actually not Merci's birthday; it's her assigned birthday.  Jan signed her out of the local animal shelter on this date back in 2003, so this is her birthday, gotcha day and prison release day all rolled into one.  We love you, Merci, and the Funny Farmers wouldn't be the same without you.

And now back to our regular post while we hound Jan for forgetting again.

Percy:  I just came across this old photo in our archives.  What did you do wrong, Buddy?  I can't remember.

Cyndi:  I remember this photo.  We posted it in 2012.

Micah:  This was before my time.  I'd like to know what you did wrong, too.

Buddy:  I didn't do anything wrong.  I was framed.

Merci:  Who framed you?

Buddy:  Sam did.

Sam:  I did not frame you!  You were guilty!

Marcus:  Does this mean every time I'm accused of doing something wrong, I have to write an apology?

Buddy:  No, Marcus, don't write any apology notes.  They'll follow you forever, even if you're innocent.

Sam:  You were not innocent. You shredded Merci's bed, scattered the stuffing and tried to blame me.

Rusty:  If I remember correctly, Sam, your excuse was you were innocent because you don't dig in bedding.  However, you have been known to eat your bedding.  Did anyone check the bed for teeth marks?

Sam:  Hey, whose side are you on, Rusty?  Did anyone check the bed for nail impressions?  I should have called 9-1-1 and asked the police department to send a nail investigator out.  He would have proved Buddy was guilty.

Cameron: What's a nail investigator?  Is he related to a fingerprint technician?

Buddy:  Yes, I believe he's a first cousin.  But I should have called 9-1-1 and asked them to send a teeth impressionist.  Or is that a tooth impressionist?  He would have proved I was innocent.

Cyndi:  That was a long time ago, guys.  It doesn't matter any more.  Personally, I think you should have called and ordered a pizza.

Sam:  Hey, that sounds like a good idea.  Let's do it now.

Buddy:  Okay, but who's paying for it?

Merci:  I think it should be whichever one of you was guilty.

Sam and Buddy:  That would be -

Percy:  Why don't Buddy and Sam just split the bill?

Assassinated Tea Kettle

Percy:  Do you remember this melted tea kettle from a couple of years ago?

Cyndi:  Jan melted it.  We had nothing to do with it.

Sam:  It was brand new.  Mr. Doug gave it to her for Christmas.

Cameron:  And Jan assassinated it.

Merci:  No she didn't.  You can't assassinate a tea kettle.

Marcus:  You can't?  Then what do you assassinate?

Micah:  Not what.  You don't assassinate a what.  You assassinate a who.

Rusty:  So who was Jan trying to assassinate when she killed the tea kettle?

Buddy:  She wasn't trying to assassinate anyone.  She was trying to boil water.

Marcus:  Oh, so the kettle wouldn't boil and Jan melted it?

Cameron:  Yes, evidently you don't want to make Jan angry with you.

Merci:  No, you have it all wrong.  Jan walked out of the room and forgot about it until she smelled something burning.

Cyndi:  Well, I should say something was burning.  The house was filling with smoke and we were all choking and trying to find our way to a door to escape.

Rusty:  And what TV show did you get that story line from, Cyndi?

Micah:  I think that was before my time.  I'm glad I missed it.

Sam:  You've been here long enough to know when Jan starts something, she will inevitibly leave the room and forget about it.

Buddy:  That's why we have 911 on speed dial.  Just in case.

Percy:  You guys have made me forget why I brought up the subject.  I'm sorry I asked. Go back to whatever you were doing.

Mastering the Hammock

Buddy:  We have a two part Sunday Smile for you today.

Micah:  Part I was too tame, so we'll go right to Part 2.

Sam:  This is Timo the Ragdoll.

Cameron:  He has his own hammock.

Rusty:  We think someone was putting him in the hammock in Part 1.

Cyndi:  But Part 2 is funny so we'll start here.  It's short.

If the video doesn't play, click here.

Percy:  We doubt Timo has a weight problem.  That's a lot of exercise.

Marcus:  I think he'd have more fun exercising with me in a game of soccer.

Merci:  He's evidently had a lot of practice because now he appears to be relaxed.  This, too, is a short video.

If the video doesn't play, click here.

Dirt Flavoring

Micah:  We like to do Sepia Saturday, Caturday Art and Black & White Sunday using a series of the same photograph for that week.  It's interesting to see just a smidgeon of what can be done with a picture.
Rusty:  Here are Merci, me and Sam giving Jan the back of disrespect last winter.  We asked Jan to lighten it a bit and this is the lightened version.

Merci;   Don't worry.  We're not going to try to teach you anything because we don't actually know anything.  We just have fun watching Jan play with these for us.  This is the original.  Notice how Sam looks like he needs a bath but he wasn't actually dirty.

Sam:  Because we used the lightened photo for the rest of this series, I don't look like I need a bath in this sepia version.

Cameron:  This is the Photoshop Elements "newspaper" black and white.  It is too light and clear for any newspaper we've seen Jan read.  Perhaps she reads the wrong newspapers?

Percy:  Jan tried a colorful frame for Caturday Art.  Hmmm, not bad.  It does make the black and white stand out.  Do you think it needs a little something, Buddy?

Buddy:  Oh, I don't know.  Possibly.  Perhaps you'll prefer the color version n a colorful frame.  I kind of like it myself.  But then readers have different taste so some might prefer the black and white.

Cyndi:  Marcus, you get stranger by the day.  You're licking the original version of the photo.  Why?

Marcus:  I'm taste testing.  It looks dark and dirty and I love dirt.  But it doesn't taste like dirt.  I think Jan forgot to add flavoring.  Do any of you know where she keeps the dirt flavoring?

Air of Mystery

Cameron:  Have you ever met Cleo, Pickles, Marbles and Dinnermintz?

Rusty:  They're the kitties from the All Fur One and One Fur All blog.

Micah:  If you haven't met them yet, you have no excuse now.

Cyndi:  'Cause we interviewed them for Mousebreath, the ezine written by cats for cats.  .

Percy:  Hop, run, fly or crawl if necessary to Mousebreath to read their story,

Buddy:  And then stop by their blog and ask how Marbles and Dinnermintz got their names.

Merci:  Yes, please, we're all dying to know the answer to that question.

Sam:  Our feline siblings didn't ask because they wanted to leave a hint of mystery.

Marcus:  Come on, tell the truth, guys.  They didn't ask because they forgot to.  Isn't that right, Percy?

Percy:  Uh ... yeah ... actually, it did sort of slip our mind at the time.  But an air of mystery makes for a better story, so we'll stick with that.

Just To Spite Percy

Micah:  Do you remember this photo of me?  When I first arrived, Percy hated me!  And I was so stressed from living in fear of him attacking me that I got sick and nearly died.  Jan force fed me lots of good stuff - things that were good for me, not so much that tasted good - and I survived.  Just to spite Percy, of course!  :)

After that food tasted so good, I got a bit roly poly for a short time, as you can see in this photo.  Then I slimmed down to fighting weight and now I'm a lean, mean fighting cat.  In other words, I don't hide any more.

Percy and I tolerate each other but we won't ever be best buddies.  That's too bad.  I kind of like Percy.  He's an expert typist and he's not afraid of anything.

So I thought I would do my own Thankful Thursday post today.  It's sure nice to have a home where there is always some furry to play with.  Or fight with.  It's just nice to have company.  Or not.  I can go off by myself is I want.  And there is always a food bowl on the washing machine.  It's not always full, cause Jan gets forgetful.  But I've never starved since I arrived.

I don't know what I did wrong that caused my last family to dump me, but I have it pretty good here, so it's their loss.

Oh, sorry, I gotta go.  Percy has hooked a bag of treats and is calling all of us kitties to share.

A Coyote and Marcus Writes

Cameron:  You probably didn't notice but we've been among the missing for a few days.

Cyndi: Jan had a rough few days and we've had to keep an eye on her, but we think we're back.

Buddy:  Sam and I had an interesting encounter when we walked Jan mid-morning Friday. We saw our first ever live, up close and personal coyote.

Sam:  It was standing very still hoping we wouldn't notice it and we were rushing so we were all the way down the hill before we did. When we walked over to the fence for a better view, it was still as a statue about 4 or 5 yards away from us.

Buddy:  It was weird.  We all just stood and stared at each other.  Then the coyote turned slowly and loped away up the hill.  It was beautiful with the sun shining on its coat.

Sam:  I know, you're probably thinking, so what, I've seen lots of wild animals when I've hiked the trails.  But this coyote was not in the woods or in the rural county.  We know there are coyotes in the county.  He was on our daily walking route - in the city!

Merci:  Jan said if there is a coyote living at the mill or in the vicinity, that could explain why we haven't seen any feral cats on our walks this year.  We used to see oodles of ferals along that stretch of woods across from the mill and we'd watch the kittens grow up.  But this year, no cats   Or it could be the coyote was just passing through.

Percy:  On another subject, Marcus has some exciting news.  I'll let him tell you.

Marcus:  Thanks, Percy.  I finished my first solo review and it published yesterday.

Rusty:  Now, I know you're all about to say, but you (meaning we ... us .. oh, you know who we are)  didn't publish a post yesterday.

Micah:  And you're correct.  We didn't post yesterday.  But Marcus did.

Marcus:  Yes, I taste tested the new Canidae grain free puppy food and then told Canidae what I thought of it for their blog.  Many of you know Julia Williams from Purr Therapy.  She writes for the Canidae blog.  You can read New Canidae Grain Free Puppy Food Passes Taste Test by Marcus Price, Canine Guest Blogger on the Responsible Pet Ownership blog.  Let me know how you like my humor.  I'm thinking of becoming a humor writer.  (Jan says no one would take me seriously because of my big ears.)

Oh, and just for the record, Canidae provided the kibble, but I wasn't paid.

No Pets to Parade

Rusty:  Oh, good, it's Friday again.  Fridays are such fun.

Cyndi:  I know.  We felines get to publish another Mousebreath cat blogger interview.

Rusty: Some of the cat bloggers consider it an honor to be interviewed.

Micah:  We consider it an honor they want to participate.

Cameron:  This week our guests are Bionic Basil and his siblings Posie, Humphrey, Smoochie, Amber and Snowie from Basil the Bionic Cat's Blog.

Percy:  They are a zany family with a fun blog, so be sure to go by Mousebreath to read their story, Dr. Basil and the U.K. Kitty Clan

Sam:  Okay, are you cats done?

Merci:  I think they are.  It's our turn.

Marcus:  I don't know of any other news.  Do you guys?

Buddy:  No, but it's Pet Parade day so lets get to parading our pets.

Marcus:  *taps Buddy's shoulder*  But we don't have any pets to parade.

Buddy:  Then grab a leash and we'll parade Jan.  But don't tell her.  She'll think we're just taking her for a walk.

Today is Tomorrow

Buddy:  Oh, dear, here we are again.  It's late, late, late and we haven't had a chance to think about what we want to post tomorrow.

Marcus:  Why do we have to think about it now?  Why don't we think about it tomorrow?

Cyndi:  Because tomorrow will then be today and it will be too late.

Cameron:  How can tomorrow be today?

Rusty:  That's easy.  Tomorrow will be here in about half an hour, so then today will be tomorrow and tomorrow will be today.

Merci:  I might be getting old, but I have no idea what you just said.

Percy:  That's okay.  You don't have to understand now.  Just sleep on it and when tomorrow becomes today, a little light bulb will go off in your head and you'll have perfect understanding.

Sam:  I don't have a little light bulb in my head.

Micah:  Oh course you don't have a little light bulb in your head, Sam.  You have an XL light bulb there.

Buddy:  I'm going to bed.  You guys have all given me a headache.

Marcus:  Maybe your light bulb is broken, Buddy.  Would you like me to look for a spare?

Merci:  Go tuck your light bulb in bed, Marcus, before I break it, and you won't be able to tell whether today is tomorrow or tomorrow is last week.

Percy:  I guess if I had to pick something to be thankful for it would be that I've survived another week with this bunch.

UPDATE:  Now that tomorrow is today, we'd like to post an update.  Basil the Bionic Cat and his Kitty Clan siblings sent Percy a birthday card.   His birthday was yesterday.  Thank you, Basil, Amber, Smoochie, Snowie, Posie and Humphrey.
