Buddy: We're just going to do a quick post. It's very late and we're frustrated! Jan has been going around in circles for the last few hours trying to figure out why she suddenly can't add any new photos to albums in Picasa. We can only post photos already in the albums. We have no idea what is going on and we're not messing with it any more tonight.
Since it's Thankful Thursday, we figure we should try to be thankful we can at least post text and re-use old photos.
UPDATE: We went round and round again this morning. And finally we found what changed in picasa! Now we either make a new dated album for every single photo we upload - NOT AN OPTION!!! - or we can click on an individual album, click "add photos" and reach the upload page WITHOUT the choose the date or an existing album. Hooray!
We can no longer use the Upload button. We're only writing this in case any other bloggers get caught in the same situation.

ReplyDeleteI use IMPORT from my SD card in Picasa. But I have noticed I can no longer hit the BLOG THIS button and it work. Well I haven't done it in so long now I don't know if it does or doesn't. I have to upload my photos within blogger as I write a new post. It's harder that way, but...changes always changes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up. I'm sure that I would be going nuts trying to figure it out myself. Now if I could just figure out how to delete multiple prints, I'd be happy! ♥

Ugh! We hate when they change stuff and they don't tell us. Sorry you had to go through that frustration with Picasa.

OMD NOT AGAIN.... that thingy happened once before and some of us had to DELETE a bunch of pictures from our OLDER POSTS... GRRRRRRRR they FINALLY got the problem Fixed...
