Catnip Candy Corn

We kitties got a neat present in the mail yesterday. A catnip candy corn from Peggy & the cats.

Cyndi: Hmmmm, just smell the nip in the package.

Rusty: Forget the package, I prefer a whiff of the real thing.

Crystal: This is worth interrupting my nap for.

Cyndi: It's about time I got to sniffle the real deal.

Sam: Who cares about catnip! I'm still waiting to get my photo taken! How about now!

Buddy: I don't know what Sam's problem is. He actually loves to have his picture taken.

We tried unsuccessfully earlier to post some photos on JFF, but there was a monumental war being waged here. No, not between us. We've been good today. All of us. We cats are snuggling (independently) to stay warm and we dogs are trying to be invisible so Jan won't make us walk in the rain again.

But Jan installed avg free 9 a few days ago and it just about brought our internet to a standstill. There is evidently bad blood between avg 9 and Zone Alarm and we're not the only ones having a problem. She spent a good deal of time today trying to convince them to work together. So if you're thinking of installing avg free 9, you might want to wait until they work out the bugs. Earlier today we couldn't even see the videos on our own blog. Just a big box where the video was supposed to be. So after much googling and a couple of un/installs of avg 9, she thinks the 2 have reluctantly agreed to a guarded truce. At least for the moment..

Some good news. Eric of the 101 Lakemore Cat rescue effort will receive a 34 lb. bag of World's Best Cat Litter. The name of the Bloomingdale Animal Shelter Society was also drawn and will receive a bag of WBCL. Congratulations to both of them.
