Merci, Furriends and Photos

On this date in 2003, Jan adopted Merci from the local animal shelter. This is also Merci's "official" birthday. She's either 8 or 9 years young today.

We voted in the Furriends of the CB Auction photo contest to raise funds for Sweet Praline.(Oops.  Praline, thanks for leaving the comment to remind us.  This CB contest is to raise money for Maxie!) We wanted to be able to list the entries in our Summer Fun with Pet Humans photo contest yesterday but we were so late getting it posted we had to skip it.  As it was we barely published the winner's name on the day we said we would.  Yep, 11:59 pm yesterday. How's that for squeaking under the wire?  If you missed it, you can read it here.

Anyway, we thought we would make it easier for you to view them by posting the links to the photos on Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul Flickr site. There were some of you who intended to enter and just didn't manage it.  There is so much going on it's hard to keep up or to remember everything.  But we hope you will be able to enter the next ... whatever it turns out to be.
