Be Safe Sparky and Friends

Many of you already know Sparky Spitfire but have you met her Auntie Suzie and Reno, the Ugly Kitten?  Well, if you want to get to know Sparky better, shimmy down the drainpipe, climb over the trellis and hightail it over to Mousebreath, the ezine for cats by cats, and read Sparky Spitfire ... Whatsername Butter Monster.

It's really cold here.  Last night the wind blew, the air was cold and damp in the house and we furries tried to find warmth. Little Marcus cuddled with Merci. We wanted Jan to go to bed early so we could pile on the bed, but she had too much to do.(Yeah, like clean laundry hung around the house in this weather is actually going to dry.)

We were so cold we couldn't help but think of all of you in the path of the blizzard that has hit a good bit of the US, from what we've been reading this morning.  So we said a prayer for all of you in its path.  We hope you are safe, warm and dry.  We wish all the humans with furries would bring them inside in this weather but we know too many of them won't.  So we said a prayer for them too.  This is no weather for any living creature to be outside on a chain or without shelter.

We are joining Rascal & Roscoe's Pet Parade blog hop.

  8. TW worries about the community cats in the park on days like this after 8 inches of snow. She hasn’t seen them in a week and hopes they found shelter indoors. If not, she hopes someone is feeding them. I don’t know Sparky so I better read the innerview.

  11. Unbelievably cold here but I know it's colder elsewhere...this morning it was SEVEN here. Needless to say there have been lots of cat naps in sun puddles OR on Mom's lap! Fine with me really but I worry about all the kitties who have no inside accommodations. Makes Sammy a TRULY lucky boy......

  14. I'm in Cumming GA! I'm going thru the Pet Parade and pinning everyone. I love pets. I do a lot of posts about adopting. And I'm a new member at BlogPaws so I'm trying to hook up with some other pet blogs. Although mine is just called Mom 'N Daughter Savings. That's what I was doing at first, coupons, etc.
