In Remembrance of Jan Struckhoff

Cat blogger Jan Struckhoff of Sabrina, Sam & Simon, a.k.a. known as the Rocky Mount Meezers left us suddenly in late November. Her family and friends are gathering today for a memorial service. We are sending prayers, purrs and pawtaps to comfort them.

Farewell, Jan.  A stranger could tell by all the Facebook comments and blog posts that you were loved by so many and you are greatly missed by all..

Kashim, Othello & Salome have written a lovely post.  They also set up a special memorial post on the Cat Blogosphere. (Thanks, Astrid)  If you are posting a remembrance of Jan today, go by and add your blog to the link.   We're sure Jan's family will appreciate it.

There are many lovely graphics being posted among the blogs today.  Anyone is welcome to post ours if they'd like.

  1. We all send loving purrs to Jan's family.

  2. I wish I had known her - such lovely tribute posts today. Blessings to her spirit and to her family...

  3. Sending loving thoughts to Jan's family... she will be greatly missed

  4. May the kitties comfort Jan's husband during this time of such will be hard to find the strength to go on, but as I did when my husband died, it's one paw in front of the other, until it gets easier...Sending our sympathies their way...

  5. We hope that her family finds some comfort in all the comments about Jan.

  6. Jan,

  12. Khyra's Mom here -

We didn't know THAT Jan - and had only seen The RMM around on other blogs in the past, but knew from the FB comments that it was a sad day for many -

I'm sure she's been greeted purry loudly at The Feline Portion of The Rainbow Bridge - which Khyra hopes is khlose to the Siberian side ;-)

Our condolences to those she left behind -

    Khyra and Khyra's Mom
