Cat blogger Jan Struckhoff of Sabrina, Sam & Simon, a.k.a. known as the Rocky Mount Meezers left us suddenly in late November. Her family and friends are gathering today for a memorial service. We are sending prayers, purrs and pawtaps to comfort them.
Farewell, Jan. A stranger could tell by all the Facebook comments and blog posts that you were loved by so many and you are greatly missed by all..

ReplyDeleteMay the kitties comfort Jan's husband during this time of such grief...it will be hard to find the strength to go on, but as I did when my husband died, it's one paw in front of the other, until it gets easier...Sending our sympathies their way...

ReplyDeleteI did not know Jan and only knew the Rocky Mount Meezers a little but I am so moved by the tributes everyone is paying this lovely woman - clearly she was loved and admired by so many.

ReplyDeleteWe didn't know THAT Jan - and had only seen The RMM around on other blogs in the past, but knew from the FB comments that it was a sad day for many -
I'm sure she's been greeted purry loudly at The Feline Portion of The Rainbow Bridge - which Khyra hopes is khlose to the Siberian side ;-)
