Merci Friday News

Hi, Merci here. It's kind of cold, so hope you don't mind if we make this a bit short. Jan saw the gas bill and turned down the heat. As soon as I finish this post, I'm headed back to Buddy's chair with the blanket on it since Buddy is curled up in my bed using my blanket.

Last year Jan Photoshop Elements had a nervous breakdown and totally lost contact with our photos. When Jan reinstalled PSE, all the tags she had spent so many hours working on were gone. Since then she can't find any photos without having to scroll through several thousand. Not fun! She is only learning so she didn't know she could save the tags to the files. (Unless any of you know an easier way.) So she needs to redo all the old photos plus the newer ones, something she has been dreading. We'll be around but since Jan will be hogging the computer again, our time will be limited online and we might not be able to leave any comments for a while. We will be checking on you, though.

In case you aren't aware, the jury pool in Boston, Massachusetts now includes a feline. Yep, Sal Esposito has been called and must appear. He will not be excused. We can just see how this can help us in our quest for furry justice. With cats on the jury, dogs are sure to demand equal rights. Dog abusers, torturers and killers BEWARE! Soon we will be helping to decide your fate! You can read the story here.

And a reminder that our neighbors Friends of Pike County Animals needs your daily vote to get an adoption and education center in their rural Georgia county. You can vote here.

  3. Yikes! Sorry to hear about the picture issues. Sounds like a bear of a project ... good luck!

Love the cat being selected for the jury. He's probably a lot wiser than some humans!

I voted for Friends of Pike County Animals. :)

  4. Jan Pellie and I are so terribly sorry to here of your problems with Photoshop Elements. Pellie says to tell you your more persistent than she is cuz after spending one month trying to figure out Photoshop she threw the darn thing in a cabinet and it has not surfaced again - it is not real user so I doubt it will any time soon.
That was such a cool story about the cat called to jury duty. I think we cats could do a better job of judging who did it than people could. But that`s only my opinion.

  6. Oh so sorry bout the foto mishap. When Mom can't find someting she's looking for, we haves to cover our ears so we don't hear all da words she's saying. So we nose how upset your Mom must be.

Now da jury needs a nudder cat to even da score.

  7. Hey Farmers,
Our dad said that Sal's dad tried to be funny and listed Sal (the cat) on a census form to be funny. So Sal's mom & dad will have to explain that to the judge; probably won't be as funny then.
Sorry Jan has to reconstruct the photo tags. Dad is feeling his way through PSE and since we dumped the hard drive this summer he's installed a 2TB external hard drive and backs up every night.
Stay warm guys and gals; snuggle if you gotta. Tell Jan to be careful, we hear that there's more snow headed your way.

  10. I don't like the idea of Au being a judge as he's very corruptible - oh wait! that makes him purrfectly acceptable!
