42 Dogs to Go

We are so behind in everything! But we wanted to make a positive post about Carrol Crocker's dogs.

There are more applications pending, but as we type this, she has 42 dogs left to find a foster home, a temporary rescue home, or a forever home.

She is only interested in 100% committed adopters! She wants good homes for these dogs. So if you are interested, fill out an online application form ( see above link) and someone will call you. There is a $25 donation fee to help with expenses.

It must be hard for Carrol to part with each of these dogs, but knowing they are going to homes where they are wanted and will be cared for helps.

We are guardedly optimistic the remaining dogs will all have a new home before the city of Rainsville can seize and kill them. We all have our paws crossed and since it is very hard to walk or dig in the litter pan this way, we hope this story will soon have a happy ending.

  1. I am also hoping very hard for a happy ending. At least we know that many of the dogs are safe.

  4. We are purring and purring our bestest purrs for these pups. We can not bear the thought of losing any of them. It must be so very difficult for Carrol so we are also purring for her.

  9. Oh, I have just caught up on this heartbreaking story! I will keep Caroll and her precious dogs in my thoughts. Why do people have to be so cruel?
Kind people like you and her balance it, but I wish it didn't have to be this way. :(
Thank you for your visits to our blog and your well wishes for Billie. She's on my lap this very minute purring. She's been doing that a lot when I'm visiting blogs lately.
Hugs to you and all of your furbabies,

  11. When I get down from that tree I will have my paws crossed for the doggies. We do so hope they can all be saved and go to caring homes.

Although SS can climb trees she didn't have to do that to take the photos. She took them from ground level, under the tree.
