We are so behind in everything! But we wanted to make a positive post about Carrol Crocker's dogs.
There are more applications pending, but as we type this, she has 42 dogs left to find a foster home, a temporary rescue home, or a forever home.
She is only interested in 100% committed adopters! She wants good homes for these dogs. So if you are interested, fill out an online application form ( see above link) and someone will call you. There is a $25 donation fee to help with expenses.
It must be hard for Carrol to part with each of these dogs, but knowing they are going to homes where they are wanted and will be cared for helps.
We are guardedly optimistic the remaining dogs will all have a new home before the city of Rainsville can seize and kill them. We all have our paws crossed and since it is very hard to walk or dig in the litter pan this way, we hope this story will soon have a happy ending.
I am also hoping very hard for a happy ending. At least we know that many of the dogs are safe.
ReplyDeletePaws crossed here that they all get new homes before crunch time. We wish we were nearer so we could do something practical to help :(
ReplyDeleteLove and Tailwags,
Ben xxxx

We are purring and purring our bestest purrs for these pups. We can not bear the thought of losing any of them. It must be so very difficult for Carrol so we are also purring for her.
ReplyDeleteWe are so happy some more dogs got adopted. We are purring they all find a wonderful home.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the up date. ~S,S & C

Mom and I think that you are a very kind caring person to help the dogs so much. Mom said: blessings to you. And I'm sending you a big fluffy hug. ((((hug))))
ReplyDeleteOh, I have just caught up on this heartbreaking story! I will keep Caroll and her precious dogs in my thoughts. Why do people have to be so cruel?
ReplyDeleteKind people like you and her balance it, but I wish it didn't have to be this way. :(
Thank you for your visits to our blog and your well wishes for Billie. She's on my lap this very minute purring. She's been doing that a lot when I'm visiting blogs lately.
Hugs to you and all of your furbabies,
Lorianna and her 4 kitties
wow wow wow....
ReplyDeleteshe's doing good things for those animals. i hope they all find a good home. If i have money soon i'll donate.
When I get down from that tree I will have my paws crossed for the doggies. We do so hope they can all be saved and go to caring homes.
ReplyDeleteAlthough SS can climb trees she didn't have to do that to take the photos. She took them from ground level, under the tree.
I am sure someone has but had there been a newscrew out to the place???? Maybe locals will see the story and try to help with the furries needing a home???????
ReplyDeleteYou must hurry over to Opus's place, he is in trouble. We must do something!!!!!!!!
You are very dedicated to keep your toes crossed, but I think it's worth the inconvenience. We're crossing ours too.
ReplyDeleteI hope all those doggies get a pawsome furever home
ReplyDelete~ Girl girl
It's kinda hard to play a game of Fetch when my paws are crossed too, but for the sake of those doggies, I am more than willing to cross my paws, my eyes, my tail.. whatever!
ReplyDeleteWe have an award for you on our post for today! Come by and pick it up.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your support for Carrol. She is amazing and I know every dog/cat lover would be amazed with her if they got the chance to meet her in person. I dont really mention on the blog, but she also has several cats too, but shhhhhh.... no one really knows that. lol... I am sure someone in Rainsville is watching my blog.. Have a great day!!

Purrs and prayers going up that every dog will have a new forever home. It's a great thing what Carroll Crocker is doing. So many dogs already in a new home, have to be really thankful for that.
