Kibble, Socks and Calming Thanks

MICAH:  We're kind of excited about today's post.  We all got something special.

MERCI:  Well, most of us did.  Guess Sam and I will have to beg on a street corner for something special of our own.

SAM:  A blogging friend who wishes to remain Anonymous sent us dogs a special gift of a dog food Jan can't afford to buy us.

BUDDY:  And Jan asked if I it was okay to feed it just to me because I have allergies and she wants to put me on a better food to see if it helps my skin.  Thank you, Anonymous!

MARCUS:  So the piggy ... I mean, my dear brother Buddy has been eating it while the rest of us starve.

RUSTY:  Marcus, you look like you could afford to lose a few pounds.  In what way are you starving?

CYNDI:  Jan didn't realize until she downloaded the pictures that her dirty dog walking shoes are included, as well as Marcus's nose.  He's photobombing as usual.

PERCY;  While the bag was handy, Jan laid out the prize we won from 15 and Meowing - 5 pairs of the Big Bang Theory ankle socks.  Their nice lady added some homemade gifts toys for us kitties and a tug toy for the dogs.  What great gifts!  Thank you!

MERCI:  And before we forget, Living with Loulou's human asked us to mention a calming product she sent us a while ago for Marcus - but only because she thinks it could help other pets.

MICAH:  So many times a blogger will ask what can I give my cat / dog to calm her or him during a thunderboomy storm or fireworks, or travel, or ....?

RUSTY:  It's called Beaphar Calming Spot on, available for dogs ... or cats.  Amazon.com carries it, but we didn't look for where to purchase it since we can't afford to order it and we aren't doing a review.  But thank you, Loulou's mom, for sending an emergency supply.

BUDDY:  Yes, Loulou's mom sent us some for dogs a while back, hoping for Marcus to be a bit less stressed.  We would exchange "stressed" for "hyper", although in some instances they can be interchanged.  Marcus is super hyper!  Super duper ultra hyper, in fact!

CYNDI:  Loulou's mom uses it on Loulou and loves it when they travel.  Yes, Loulou sometimes travels with her pawrents.  Real travel by car and boat, not virtual.

SAM:  It's natural valarian extract.  I don't understand why Jan uses it so sparingly.  If Marcus kept grabbing her by her collar, she'd "sedate" him more often.

PERCY:  Jan doesn't wear a collar, but he used to give all of you dogs a workout on your walks and he keeps us cats walking off the floor much of the time.

MARCUS:  *clears throat*  Uh, guys, you're just joking about sedating me more often. I'm a fun guy, the life of the Funny Farm.  You actually love me ... don't you? Come on, I'm your brother!
