A Trash Mover
Marcus: (sung to the tune of ... I have no idea!)
Here I come walking down the street.
Leading Jan by the hand with two mismatched leash.
Throw it down, plastic bottle or can.
Take it back, I'll bite your hand.
I'm a trash mover, yes, a trash mover.
Whoo hoo, I'm a trash mover!
I can't believe how many people throw their trash down and keep going. Our walks are a gold mine of trash - and broken glass - but Jan will only allow me to move a plastic bottle from Point A to Point B. She said it keeps me out of other trouble. I have no idea what she's talking about.

ReplyDeleteBravo Marcus, I love you even more for being so community conscious to clean up after those who are blind to their responsibilities. I always wonder what their homes must look like...!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Nice of you to pick up the trash! I get so mad at careless humans who litter.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a good time doing a little trash talking!
ReplyDeleteWe don't know what she's talking 'about either, but playing with a plastic bottle or two is a good thing for a goggie!
ReplyDeleteI think some people view Mother Nature as their mama and believe "she" will pick up after them. Thanks for doing your part to help, Marcus!
ReplyDeleteWe may need to hire you

If you like to collect trash, you should come to the beach with us - it has been particularly bad since Matthew.
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping and decluttering the street, Marcus ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteMarcus, do not play dumb. You know the rules perfectly well, but thanks for doing your civil duty by removing trash. Now if you could only remove the trash-throwers!
ReplyDeleteI think it could be sung to the Bee Gee's Staying Alive :)
ReplyDeleteGood work, Marcus. We see lots of trash on our walks too. Lightning is afraid of the blowing in the wind grocery store bags, and Misty wants to pick up everything she spots.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning and Misty
Good work Marcus!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a little puppy I would pick up cigarette butts from the ground and eat them whenever I could get away wid it. It drove my peeps crazy!

Well done, Marcus. But it's a shame that you come across so much trash that needs moving.
