Charlie Needs To Leave



Merci:  Knock, knock.

Cameron:  Who's there?

Merci:  Charlie.

Cameron:  I don't know anyone named, Charlie.  Go away! 

Merci:  That's not right.  You're supposed to ask Charlie who? 

Cameron:  I don't care who Charlie is.  I don't know him and you know what Jan said about opening the door to strangers.  I could get into biiiiiiig trouble!

Merci:  But I'm not a stranger.

Cameron:  Of course you're not.  You're Merci.  But Charlie I don't know.  He needs to leave.

Merci:  But there is no Charlie.  And you don't have to answer the door.

Cameron:  Then why are you pretending there is a Charlie and telling me I have to ask who he is? 

Merci:  Because it's a joke. 

Cameron:  Then tell Charlie to come back when Jan is home so she can answer the door and ask him who he is.

Merci:  Never mind.  I've forgotten the punch line now.
