Hi, I'm Cotton, or rather I'm Cotton's paw, to introduce our post for today. I haven't finished my daily beauty routine (I'm 11 years old), so I would prefer just to show you one tortie paw at this time.
We'll start with a short but cute kitty video.
If the video doesn't play, click here.
We are posting this tonight to give Jan a smile after a long afternoon outside on her feet watching her car get taken apart and put back together.
As we mentioned yesterday, Jan's car broke down. The timing belt jumped time because it was shedding its teeth. They were just falling off. And humans get upset because we furries shed?
Doesn't look like a fun way to spend a day to us. No toys or munchies in sight.
But she was fortunate to find someone to work in the Wal-mart parking lot so the car didn't have to be towed. Now she needs a day or so to catch up a little on what she was going to do yesterday and today - clean the house and exciting stuff like that. So we're going to catch up on exciting stuff too - napping. She promised to wake us when it's time to post again.
Although we know many of you already know of Rocky the Gutter Cat's passing, we would still like to mention him. He left a sad family behind. You can visit his blog here to leave a comment.
And check out our Zazzle store if you haven't already. You can still order in time for Christmas. You can now order coasters or ornaments with your pet's photo or your child or grandchild's photo. Or even with your own photo to give as a gift.
Khytty agilities!!!

We're so sorry to hear about Jan's car. Hope it is "purring" now!

Awwww me and Charlie are so glad that Jan's car got fixed!! Oh dear! We hope she has a relaxing time today after such an experience!!
ReplyDeleteI'm at work so I can't watch the clip but will do so when I get home!!! And Cotton you are adorable - you have a cute paw!!

Glad the car got fixed.
ReplyDeleteNice people to help Jan get her car fixed in the parking lot. Great video of the kitty.

So sorry to hear about Jan's car, glad to hear it is all fixed up!
ReplyDeleteSo close, kitty -- SO close! Cars ... can't live with them, can't shoot them. At least not within the city limits.
ReplyDeleteThe video was so cute! That is one talented cat.
ReplyDeleteMy timing chain died once. Fortunately, I came to a coasting stop by the side of the road. Directly in front of a service station! They pushed it onto their lot and started working on it immediately. Considering all the country roads I had to drive back then, I was very lucky!
The Big Thing
That little one on the obstacle course was such a hoot! I am sending lots of purrs to Jan's car too, it didn't look like it felt good at all. We were sad to hear about Rocky, we didn't know him but we had stopped by earlier.
ReplyDeleteHope the car is all better now.
ReplyDeleteHousework is more than a chore for SS these days since she is so slow :sigh:
Not fun to wait around to get a car fixed. Hope it is running smoothly and you all are warm and cozy. we got snow today and the winds are howling!
ReplyDeleteWhat a young looking paw. Ok lady, just an FYI. Your timing belt broke but he took your wheel off, something is fishy
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
That does sound like a long day...poor Jan!
ReplyDeleteGreat video, as usual! :-) Who needs cat climbing frames when you can have a whole walk-in wardrobe?!
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
We are sorry to hear that Jan's car had a boo-boo. We hope that it is all better now.
ReplyDeleteWe loved the videos you shared this past week - Patty-Cake, the baby sloths, the kitty obstacle course! Thanks for the laughs and the smiles.
