The Mess is Jan's Fault
Micah: I am thankful this is not the weather this week.
Merci: I am too. It sure is an unusual winter.
Buddy: Yes, a snowstorm and an ice storm? Very unusual. At least in my lifetime.
Cameron: It has actually been nice this week. Jan has had the back door open for some fresh air.
Sam: Everything in the house is an inch deep in mud. It's all Marcus' fault.
Cyndi: It is not all Marcus' fault, Sam. All of you dogs tracked in mud.
Rusty: And cat litter. Don't forget all the cat litter they tracked inside.
Marcus: How did we track in cat litter from your litter pans?
Percy: Not from our litter pans. The litter Jan coated the icy steps with. It got wet and was crushed and made a mess in the house.
Micah: Actually, the mess is Jan's fault, so don't worry about it.
Merci: How is the mess Jan's fault?
Micah: Well, if Jan hadn't thrown the cat litter around, none of you would have stepped in it and there wouldn't be a mess.
Buddy: Oh, right. But how is the mud Jan's fault?
Micah: If Jan put you dogs on a leash and took you out the front door, you wouldn't be tracking mud in the back door. Right?
Sam: Aha, so it is all Jan's fault! And here she's been blaming us for the mess.
Merci: I, for one, am thankful you pointed this out to us, Micah. Jan, I'm not so sure will be happy about it.

Love that logic.

Always good to put the fault where it belongs :-) However you can make it belong there!
ReplyDeleteWe think you all make perfect sense, you're right it is Jan's fault. *teehee*
ReplyDeletehaha! Ah poor Jan! I know what a mess kitty litter can make when you have no choice but to use it on the ice! It then gets all mushy and doesn't go away. We have had to do that once or twice! Luckily we finally found a place where we can buy pet friendly sand instead of salt or littler. At least it washes away a bit better.

Ah HA! We can clearly see your logic. With those thorough and patient deductive skills, you Funny Farmers should be detectives! :)
ReplyDeleteMOST everything that goes wrong at our house is caused by our dad.

Huh, we dint agree at first, but you all convinced us. Its Jans fault!
ReplyDeleteBOL!MOL! You just described my day. Of course I tracked plenty of mud into the house, as did the dogs. The cats, no. They were not allowed outside to wallow in it.
ReplyDeletePepiSmartDog: Hi! *waving wildly* Who knew Jan threw cat litter in the air and around the rooms as a hobby? BOL! She sure sounds like a big trouble maker. HeeHee.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Thankful Thursday Weekly Blog Hop and I look forward to seeing you again this week. (((bouncer chest bumps))) :=o)
