Testing, Testing

We're taking a day or two off for Jan to rest. We have no idea what that has to do with us, but she says after 5 days of staring at the monitor and having a dozen tabs and programs open at a time from mid-morning to early morning ... well, never mind the rest. It was kind of incoherent.

The short version is we have to say good-night, see you soon while she looks for her memory. She is sure she left it somewhere safe but she has forgotten where. We would put Buddy on its trail but his nose is out of joint. Something about Jan taking Sam for a walk two days in a row before him.

So why is this post titled "Testing?" Because we're going to set this to auto post at 6 am tomorrow, Thursday. We're hoping the third time this new blogger in draft will actually work.

Update
:Well, we now know auto post in Blogger in Draft dashboard does NOT work! This did not auto post this am either. And the blog takes longer for us to load. Does it take longer for you also? After all this, we might end up with our original template back again.

We notice google is taking forever to transfer data with this new template and the new dashboard -- which we got from Blogger (owned by Gooogle). Whatever is going on, we don't like it. So don't be surprised if the new blog suddenly looks surprisingly like the old one.

Have a purring and tail wagging day.

  2. The schedule function in Blogger Draft is working for me -- but yesterday and today I've noticed issues with uploading photos from the draft version of the Dashboard!

  3. Well, the site loaded fine for me. But it is always much slower for me to load my own stuff then it is for everyone else. We don't use the Blogger in Draft because it never works right - we just use the regular dashboard. I have noticed that blogger sends out scheduled posts to my reader for some blogs, but I don't have that happen with mine usually. I wonder if it is because those were done in Blogger in Draft.

  4. i do not know why these mommehs think they are entitled to such breaks. do they not know that we kittehs are THE most important things in their lives? they should be running to satisfy our every whim, not wandering off searching for memories.

  5. Nope, no difficulties with loading.

Sorry you've had so many difficulties with the new format. The auto load problems are a bummer. I dipped my toe into Blogger Draft a while back and pulled it right out again.

    Enjoy the rest, Jan!

  8. The new design looks GREAT! It loaded for us without problems...

Sorry we can't be of any help with the Blogger in Draft thingy, since we do not use it (we just load up our posts from the "regular" dashboard).

We hope Jan gets some good rest. We'll be waiting here for all of you when you get back! :)

  14. It looks fine to us, but whatever you do just don't get lost in cyberspace, okay? Its hard to get our friends back when they get lost out there and we don't want to lose you

  15. One thing about the auto post. Mom says if she works on a post and "saves" it and then tries to schedule it to post at a certain time, it doesn't work right. But if she doesn't save it but just puts in the autopost info, then it works. No idea why.

  16. Hmmmm....

Now I KNOW I ain't letting my mom put her paws on my blog....

I will tell woo the furst thing I have her do when we start working on our post each day is put the next day and 12:00AM in -

That way when we are working on it and inadvertently publish it, it really didn't! I've learned the hard way!

    I khan't say I've had any issues with pre-skhheduling posts -

Good lukhk with all the things on the chore list!

  17. Auto post does not work for me either. It makes Mom say some words under her breath. I think they are words I am not supposed to hear.

Your site opened just fine for me tonight.

Thank you for thinking of my Grandpa!
