Marcus: I'm singing The Temptations' old song "Since I Lost My Blankie".
Cyndi: I never heard of it. Are you sure there is such a song?
Marcus: Of course there is!
Percy: So where did you lose your blankie?
Marcus: Right here. It used to be inside my crate but now it's outside.
Cyndi: I hate to say this, but that's not a blankie, it's your bedding.
Marcus: Okay. ♪ ♫ Since I lost my bedding. ♪ ♫ Since I lost -
Percy: You have not lost your bedding either. You pulled it outside your crate and wadded it up. if you want it "found" again, just drag it back inside.
Cyndi: Oh, and by the way, The Temptations never sang a song called "Since I Lost My Blankie". It was "baby", "since I lost my baby"!
Marcus: That's just plain silly! How could they lose a baby?
Percy: I don't know. How did you lose your bedding while sleeping on it?
Cyndi: If you don't believe us, here it is. Baby, since I lost my baby.

LOVE the Temptations! And Marcus, some people actually WANT to lose certain babies when they are wailing and fretting, so DO NOT FRET over a blankie. I thought Since I Lost My Baby was another song by someone else.
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet Marcus we hope if you didn't get your bedding back in your crate that someone did it for you. That crate don't look too comfy with no bedding. We enjoyed the music but we don't remember ever hearing that song before. We always like the Temptations though. Hugs and nose kisses

Oh Marcus you sing those blues! The Puffs sing them when Mom doesn't get their fleece blankies put right on the bed for them at night too even though they are the ones that wad them up against the wall!
