Hold That Door
Rusty: Hey, hold that door! I'm coming in.
Never mind, I think I'll stay out for a while longer.
Jan, stop! Don't you dare close the door! I'm not done making up my mind.
Why did you close the door? You know I want to come inside.
Just because you opened the door again, do I really want to come inside with someone who closed me outside? You can just stand there and wait until I make up my mind.
Hey, come back here! I'm not done thinking.
What do you mean I can text you when I'm ready? I don't have a phone!

ReplyDeleteBit Rusty in the thinking eh? Perhaps by text, Jan means 'twitch extreme tail' signals??? hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx
Open doors DO cause cat-dilemmas dont they?
ReplyDeletei can relate to the wait at the door for Jake to decide if it is in or out... when we had 2 dogs it was really a big deal waiting. and letting in skeeters
ReplyDeleteSnorts! Either in or out - that's what my mom tells me all of the time. Snorts with piggy laughter. XOXO - Bacon
ReplyDeleteYes, I often play door tag wif my mom, she opens the door for me and I sit in the yard, then she closes it and I mIGHT run to the door and come in the house, OR I might choose to stay in the yard and force mom to come out and carry me in. Oh the power!! Stella Rose
ReplyDeleteBentley does a lot of deep thinking about whether he REALLY wants to go outside or come back inside. We always tease him by saying he costs us a fortune in air conditioning while he makes up his mind. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWow! Here it would be easier...we can sneak out or in through dog-guy's doggy door, MOL!
ReplyDeleteBut well, its not really a problem cause we are not supposed to be outside!
And since your Miss Jan is your slave she will just have to stick close by to attend to your whims,OMC!! (Tee-hee!)
I get it, it's such a hard decision! You shouldn't be rushed like that.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaaaaw

You are so lucky you get to go outside! We are jealous!
ReplyDeleteYou really need to get yourself a phone!
ReplyDeleteGotta keep 'em guessing, aye?? I've got a doggy door now but I used to LOVE playing that game!!
ReplyDeleteYou need a phone- or a doorbell.
ReplyDeleteRusty, we're with you. That's a decision that takes some serious thinking!
ReplyDeleteWell, of course you are supposed to wait while I am considering the possibility of perhaps moving in the direction of an entry port and you are supposed to wait as long as it takes and if I walk away and you slam the entry port barrier and stomp away in frustration, you can bet I WILL BE BACK!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious... I want out.. no I want In... no wait. what?
