Gastrointestinal Fortitude of A Goat

CYNDI:  Can anyone guess what this is?

MERCI:  I hope it isn't a new bowl for any of us furries.

SAM:  It should be Marcus's new bowl.  He created it.

MICAH:  He did?  I didn't know he had any talent.

BUDDY:  He doesn't.  He doesn't have any brains either.  He could have cut his mouth and had to be rushed to the vet.

RUSTY:  True.  Those edges are sharp.  Jan can hardly believe Marcus isn't injured.

PERCY:  Guess the "devil dog", as one of Jan's friends calls Marcus, has a guardian angel.

CYNDI:  Jan fed the dogs and started to mix our breakfast in one bowl yesterday.  Then she saw Stanley, his dog Moses, a woman and a strange dog in the street.

PERCY:  Jan walked outside to see what was going on.  She took the bowl and spoon with her so the cat food wouldn't disappear while she was gone.

MERCI:  The dog was following Stanley and Moses.  He had gotten out of his yard and the woman was driving around looking for him. She caught him and left.

RUSTY:  Jan walked to the end of the porch to talk to Stanley while Moses walked around to the steps so he could go stand beside Jan and look up at her with his handsome face and pleading eyes.

MICAH:  He really wanted that bowl of cat food and didn't want to leave without it.  So Jan walked down the steps and across the lawn, let him lick the spoon, and sent him off to breakfast with Stanley.

BUDDY:  She came back inside to find the empty cat food can in the living room.  She is very upset with Marcus for stealing it from off the kitchen table.

MARCUS:  I don't understand why.  She lets me lick the dog food bowls clean when she makes our food.  Or she used to.  Wonder why she stopped?

SAM:  Because one day you licked it clean before breakfast and then ate the bowl after breakfast.

MARCUS:  But it was good.  And I didn't get cut.

SAM:  It was cardboard and the inside was coated with plastic!   You evidently have the gastrointestinal fortitude of a goat!

MARCUS: Oh, wow!  Just think of all the inedibles I can ediblize.

BUDDY:  NO!  Food containers are not for edibilizing ... I mean, for eating.  Edibilize is not a word.

MARCUS:  Okay, so I am not supposed to eat cans and cardboard or plastic.  What kind of a diet is that?

PERCY:  A safe one.

  9. Marcus, what a relief that you didn't hurt your mouth!
I have a funny can issue. Mickey Mouser many times doesn't want to eat his dinner when I put it in a bowl ( clean fresh bowl from the dishwasher ). If I offer him the opened can to smell the food, he wants to eat it out of the can. What's going on here, I wonder? I let him lick the can as long as I'm holding it and making sure he doesn't get near sharp edges. Funny cat!

  11. Marcus, we is furry happy you did not hurt your mouth. That was furry dangerous. HOWEVER, Billy is rolling on the floor laffin and laffin - you eated all the brekfest before brekfest and then ate the bowl. PLEASE don't give him any idea. You KNOW he has those green spots on his brain that we think take the place of his common sense.
