Live Like Royalty

Cyndi:  We were looking at some old photos yesterday and thought this one would make a great pick for our weekend art post.

Micah:  I understand Cameron was born inside the house next door and moved outside when he was a couple or more weeks old.

Sam:  His mom and littermates spent a lot of time in this big, heavy wooden planter.  There were four or five black or black and white kittens.  One or two had the manx short tail.

Cameron:  I remember when Jan took this picture.  I was very young and happy.  Can any of you guess which one of those kittens I am?

Marcus:  I can.  I've seen a picture of you in exactly the same pose on the washing machine. You're the little guy sitting straight and tall in the back.  I like this sepia version better.  It looks like dirt.  I love dirt.

Merci:  Ooh, look, Marcus' mud has changed color.  For Caturday Art, Jan used Picasa on the computer to give the picture a boost, add the Polaroid effect and then give it a museum matte.

Percy:  This is the original photo, minus the dirt and the colors.  I'm only a week or two older than Cameron. He sure does look small here.

Rusty:  He might have been small but he had a regal bearing even then.  Do you suppose he had a premonition one day he would move next door to the Funny Farm and live like royalty?

Buddy:  This is a copy of tomorrow's black and white version.  We hope you have enjoyed our short trip down memory lane.
