We wanted something appropriate as a tribute to our military, past and present, for Veteran's Day. We think this song, "America My Home," performed by Ricky David Tripp one month after 9-11 fits the bill.
We stand behind our military. And we salute them. (A little hard for dogs and cats, but, hey, if Percy can type, we can salute.)
We are especially pleased as we read of those serving overseas whose hearts reach out to help rescue unwanted dogs and cats.

ReplyDeleteThrough the tears the mom is typing for me. We honor all who have served and are now serving to fight for our freedoms that we enjoy daily here in our great country. The differences in how we think about fighting and not fighting we cannot ever loose sight of those that put their lives on the line so we can have those differences. What a beautiful tribute you posted.
ReplyDeleteMy dad is a veteran and when he gets home tonight I am going to snuggle on his laps all the evening long while he watches the tv and maybe he will take a nap in his favorite chair. He had a near miss and each day I cherish him being her in our home with his family.
Again, I salute all veterans with a big thank you from the bottom of my heart.
