We had lots of news to post but we've forgotten most of it. There is a lot of news on the Cat Blogosphere lately. Too many illnesses and deaths - both human and feline.
We spent most of the last week unable to view Blogger headers and misc. photos from Blogger, even some Jan had taken or graphics she'd made. We posted on it the other day believing the problem was corrected, but Jan had misunderstood and unchecked something she shouldn't have. She couldn't believe our antivirus company actually told us to uncheck it and reversed it on her own, fortunately, but then we couldn't view so many photos again.
After a few days, the tech told Jan to just enter the photos she couldn't see as exceptions. Now we already had over 200 or 300 hundred blocked photos from just part of one day. So Jan calmly and coolly emailed a reply: ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!!!!
Tech Support then referred the problem to Product Support. The problem was fixed Wednesday night with a definitions update. It is so nice to see all your handsome faces again. It was hard, though, to figure out any Wordless Wednesday posts since we couldn't view the photos.
We want to remind you of Hansel's Halloween Spooktacular Contest.
Buddy posted his non-costume this morning. And we just submitted Jan's entry. But we need to warn you that her entry nearly made Charlie's (Old Kitty) human fall off her chair. We're not sure if it was shock or laughter.
We'll make this a short post so you can go look around Hansel's Halloween blog. Perhaps it will stimulate your creativity and you'll submit an entry or two yourself. This year you must have a blog to enter. There are several categories. The deadline to submit your entry is noon on Halloween. (Eastern time.)
Have fun.
Sometimes all of this techy stuff is just too much....*sigh* Am glad your problem with viewing pictures was resolved by the AV you have.

I don't understand any of the technical stuff. As I have said before the mom here know just enough to get herself into a lot of trouble at times. I am glad that you can visit and see photos. Love your photos in the Halloween contest!!!!

ReplyDeleteHi guys! I hope you're all fixed up and back to normal now. *waves*
ReplyDeleteWe were in tech hell as well this week. Sending purrs.
ReplyDeleteHi, gang! Sounds like things have been nuts around there. Technical problems make all of us cranky.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on our blog. We're kind of in a quandary, as we've had the exact opposite problem - we've had problems leaving comments on some blogs WITH the popout box. Now, we're pretty sure it's because of the Blogroll they also have on their pages and not the popout comments themselves. But it seems with any internet applications, there is no solution that is perfect for all browsers/operating systems/software versions, etc. So when we get the time, we'll do some research to see what options seems to be the most compatible. We do appreciate you passing on the message, though! Y'all have a great weekend!!!
we are going over to take a peek
