Her brother found Buddy inside his fenced yard one very cold mid-December morning. Buddy was only 3 or 4 weeks old at the time. When Jan saw him, she scooped him up and brought him home until he was old enough to return to her brother. But she grew attached to him and he's still here. (Don't worry. She did find an older puppy that someone had abandoned for her brother.)
We're not having a party, but we do want to recognize the most vocal character among us on his day. When Zoolatry made our banner, she really captured his personality. When all are marching right, Buddy is veering left.
We poke fun at him sometimes but we love him. He is the heart of JFF, the inspiration for this journal.
