8th of November

The Army of Four has posted a link to a YouTube video on another blog and we just have to post it here. This video is in honor of Jan's brothers - all Vietnam vets. Thankfully, they all returned home from the war. But many didn't.

The song is by Big & Rich.

The original Memorial Day post is below this one.

  5. Happy Memorial Day to you.
It is important to remember those soldiers that served our country and fought for the freedoms that we have today. Great post, thanks.
We all are together as SS and the moms are busy. We are sticking together for a few days and visiting together.

  10. Thanks for stopping by today, I am so glad that you all didn't forget me. I kind of have to be nice to the mom of the house because she did say that she would get me to Ruis & Karl's wedding on the 30th. She also has been letting Momo, Opus, and Roscoe stay with me and visit when I visit. Think that is nice of her. Besides she is pretty ill with a nasty cold. The little sweet grand baby gave her and the dad of the house a nasty, nasty cold. Almost feel sorry for her. OK, I do feel sorry for her, and the dad too.
She did let me visit everyone on my link list yesterday and I thought that was nice of her. She even made a quick post for me. I am trying to be good and will try really hard not to stick my toungue out at her. Sometimes that is a hard thing to pass up on.

  16. Wow--what a gripping story. It's just awful how many people died in the Vietnam War and others--and how many people lived but suffered terribly.
