Asta's Surprise Party
Scruffy, Lacie & Stan are throwing a welcome home from Rome party for Asta - at Asta's place. You know how it is. When he returns from his trip to Italy, he won't want to rest; he'll want to p-a-r-t-y! So his friends are going to oblige.
Of course, his pawrents might have to rent a hotel room for the duration, unless they can sleep through a woofie and kitty bash.
You can click on the photo or this link and read the details. You can also post the photo on your own blog.

The Oprah show on puppy mills in Pennsylvania was very good. Good thing we were prepared with a box of tissues handy.
Millions of folks watch Oprah and we hope at least a large number of them take the information to heart. We wish they all would.

Puppy mills are so sad. Just dropping by to say 'mieow'. There is not much news my end. Good to have SS home for the weekend. We have to go back to the vet on Monday for more tests. Cross your paws for me please!
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait for the pawty!
ReplyDeleteWoo woo, Kelsey Ann
It sounds like a fun bash for Asta. I really hope the Oprah program does some good.
ReplyDeleteThat party sounds like so much fun! I cannot wait for Asta to get home.
ReplyDeleteWe watched the Oprah show, and my Mommie shed some tears. But I really hope that show will make a difference.
I am thinking this party could be very good.
ReplyDeletevery cool that the oprah show was good - and the party sounds like a blast!
ReplyDeleteJust dropping by to wish you a wonderful weekend. We can wait for the party!
ReplyDeleteI'll be there. Sassy has organized our transport for the party and all of us are going. See you all there! What fun!
ReplyDeleteAsta's welcome home party is gonna be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the show was good. I sure hope this helps to stop the puppy mills!

We're super excited for the party!
ReplyDeleteMommy saw the show on Oprah, we really hope that it helps.
We read about Asta's party over at Maggie & Mitch's. Sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh my, Friday was definitely a tier jerker. First Oprah started off with her tribute to Sophie (she looks just like our Abby) and then the puppy mill story just tore at our hearts. We're glad it's being brought to light - so horrible.

Puppy mills are terrible - and of course are the largest contributors to the homeless animal problem. There will be a program airing on ABC here tonight about counselling RSPCA volunteers for compassion fatigue because of the high number of animals that they cannot find homes for. It's good to see these things getting high-profile publicity.

Hi, everyone -
ReplyDeleteWe agree puppy mills are horrible. Mama did not see Oprah's show but hearing of these stories and that some animals are abused make her not only sad but really mad.
We are also going to Asta's party. We can't wait to meet everyone.
Love -
Hershey and Kaci
P.S. I (Hershey) have found so many sticks to play with.
What a great idea for Asta!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Ari learned about the party this weekend: when I came home on Sunday, I found several boxes of risotto partially-consumed and totally strewn around the living room. Maybe she thought it was a potluck?
ReplyDeleteHi guys!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry we haven't been around lately...
We furgot about the show! But our humans really wanted to see it... maybe they will search it up or something!
And about Asta's pawty! What a pawsome idea!! We wish we had logged on the computer earlier though, because it's too late fur us to join in...
Wags and licks,
Maya and Kena
Hi Mates
ReplyDeleteWe'll keep our paws and fingers crossed that something positive comes out of the Oprah show. Mum is very disillusioned about what is going on.
I can't go to Asta's surprise pawty coz mum is too busy. I'm way behind with my blogging again. I still can't play with my barkday gifts coz mum hasn't finished the post. I'm not happy about any of this.
Love from Hammer
We iz glad dat Asta madez it home frum Italee, but we missed da darn partee! Rats!
ReplyDeleteAmen about the mills...
ReplyDeleteWe didn't watch Oprah but I think it is a good thing of her to take these matters on, lots and lots of people watch her show! I am sure it was very educational to some...
ReplyDeleteAsta's party was great, wasn't it! We are having breakfast around the corner now after we - uhm - trashed the place.....
