Cameron: Well, we survived everything that went wrong last week.
Merci: We hope this week will be injury-free for Jan, but with two toe injuries last week, we doubt it.
Cyndi: We thought we would show you some photos from last Thursday.
Marcus: Isn't that when Jan locked us up in the sauna and went off to have fun without us?
Percy: Jan did not lock us in the sauna. We don't have one. It only feels like we do with the current heat and humidity.
Rusty: Jan went to the Thomaston-Upsonl Business Expo to help at the Thomaston Toastmasters table. Jerry's photo is always in the paper because he gives speeches at various clubs and events. He's a great source of historic information on the Civil War as fought in Georgia.
Marcus: Was he there when it happened?
Micah: Oh, no! Jerry is much too young to have lived during the Civil War. He's a history buff who can tell funny stories, so groups like to invite him to speak.
Sam: Pam wasn't around for the Civil War either. She is the Thomaston Toastmasters VP of Education.
Marcus: You mean Jan is getting an education?
Buddy: If she is, I hope it's in how to get her foot out of her mouth. You never know what she'll babble when she's nervous.
Cyndi: Here are a few other photos from the afternoon. There was a big crowd and a lot of tables to visit. It took Jan over an hour to stop at each one.
Merci: This is Fawne from Flint Rose Studio. She's a good artist. Stop by and Like her Facebook page.
Micah: The lovely lady on the right was Jan's insurance agent when Jan had a car.
Marcus: It looks like Jan had fun. So why didn't she take us with her?
Buddy: That's a good question, Marcus. But if we'd gone, we'd have had to stand around and invite humans to the Toastmaster club.
Marcus: Would we have gotten paid or had treats?
Cameron: No pay, no treats, Marcus.
Marcus: Then I'm glad I stayed home with you guys.
Sam: Do you think we should mention that Thomaston Toastmasters is also on Facebook?
Rusty: We could but we don't have that many readers from Thomaston.
Percy: But someone might see it from Pike County or Barnesville, or even Griffin. So let's mention it.
Buddy: I thought we just did.
Looks like Jan had a safe and happy day....a rarity it seems guys haaha :) what fun hugs and loves Fozziemum xx
