Sunday Smile

This story will have you smiling through your tears.  It's a story of love, 68 years of patience, and forgiveness.  It is also a story that transcends a language barrier between new friends.

You will not regret watching this video. You will meet a very special woman.  It made our day when we watched it. Our hope is it will make yours too.

  2. Booo to that congressman!! What a liar! Sorry - but why lie to Peggy!??!

I'm so happy for the ending and for the village who honour her husband. Oh but that congressman annoys me!

Peggy is such a better person than me to be so forgiving! Take care

  3. That is very sweet! Thank you for sharing it with us <3

  4. I have seen this before. A wonderfully dignified lady! So sweet x

  5. What an amazing lady Peggy is. I had tears seeing the village honoring her husband. Beautiful.

  6. Steve Hartman used to work for one of our local tv stations, and we are so glad he is still doing such great work and bringing to his viewers such wonderful stories.
Boo to the guy in Washington for being so insensitive and down right lazy! We wouldn't have forgiven him so gracefully. One beautiful but sad love story.
Three cheers for the french citizens who still honor him to this day!

  7. A lovely dignified lady who has a very forgiving heart, A lovely video that warms the heart. Hugs GJ xx

  8. So sad she had to wait over 60 years for confirmation. How beautiful for waiting and forgiving so long. So glad she did get to to go to France visiting the place where they finally found where his remains were. God Bless her.
