My New White Ball

Taylor: Let's see. You had a new blue ball. A new new blue ball. (Inside Outside Talk) A new new new blue ball (not blogged). A new red ball. (Red Rubber Ball)  All within six months. Where did you get this white one?

Marcus:  I found it.

Taylor:  Outside in the dog pen?

Marcus:  No.  It was in a box, and then it was on the desk, and then, like magic, it was in my crate.

Taylor:  I think you mean, then, by theft, it was in your mouth.

Marcus:  Exactly!  Wait!  How did you know?

Taylor:  I heard Jan yell, "You little thief!"

Marcus:  Well, she shouldn't have turned her back for an hour.

Taylor:  Ten seconds.

Marcus:  Okay, for ten seconds.

Taylor:  You didn't even wait for Jan to remove the tag.

Marcus:  It was sent to me.  I saw my name on the box.

Taylor:  Your name is Jan?

Marcus:  No, but I know when Canidae sent the dog biscuits and the new white ball for Christmas, they were intended for me.  They just had one of those Jan moments and forgot my name.

Taylor:  So what are you going to do with your new white ball, hide in your crate with it?

Marcus:  Just until we bond.

Taylor:  You're going to bond with a ball?

Marcus:  Yes, bonding is very important to the mental health of a ball.

Taylor:   Who told you that?

Marcus:  My new white ball.

Taylor:  And you believe it?

Marcus:  Of course, I do.  It's never lied to me yet!

Taylor:  Today is Thankful Thursday and we're sure thankful the electric company came out Wednesday and cut down that "spider web" of branches twined around our power pole and power line.

We're joining the Thankful Thursday blog hop at Brian's Home.

  1. Hey, that is cool ball, Marcus. Does it glow in the dark??
And surely those entwined branches were thinking about causing trouble to your electric supply soon, if not already. Good thing they have been thwarted from doing that now:)

  2. Hari OM
BOL... oh Marcus, I hope that White Ball is equally as keen to bond with you!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. I hope you all have a ball today!!!! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

  4. You need much tougher balls or chews Marcus,,maybe an old truck tire would work ;)

  5. As I say at my house: the squeaky ball is ALWAYS mine!

  6. Seems logical to us that you'd get it.

  7. Ah, Marcus, Marcus, Marcus.... life would be quite dull for the others if you weren't around.

  8. Congratulations on the new ball. Companies are always putting Mom’s name on OUR stuff. Seriously, who else would they send that spiffy ball to other than you? ❤️❤️

  9. Santa must have delivered your gift early :)

  10. Marcus, I swear, you could be a politician!!!

  12. what a great ball! You and it were meant to be together. And I know what you mean, half the stuff that comes here for me got here with the wrong name on it!

  13. Well I guess white balls would only tell white lies maybe... MOL.
So you know what they say about the early ball gets the thief or it takes a thief to find a white ball and hide it... but I think Jan should have it back to play with too.

    - Chiquita who chases little balls and stuffs.

Oh and JayMee, aka Jeremiah Midnight am going on a two hour journey in the morning to gets nootered and find a furever home.

  14. this is very odd... but Chiquita's comment disappeared. Chiquita said something about, you know what they say that It takes a thief to find a little white ball and hide it, or you know what they say about little white balls silly thieves. Well Jan should still get a turn to play with the ball too...

Chiquita can't remember... she was talking to Princess Erin over in England about very odd things and well that's all she remembers now. Howsumever, JayMee is taking a two hour road trip to get nootered and find hims furever home tomorrow morning. Please keeps him in your purrz. -Katie the Mom.
