Hey, Cameron, here with a cool kitty video for you today. This is Rex, school mascot, mental health adviser, campus representative .... He's kind of everything you would expect a cat to be, except he has adopted an entire school. We wonder if this means extra daily treats, especially at lunchtime. If so, maybe I should ask if he needs an assistant.

Time is quickly running out for Precious kitty. She is in a foster home in Greenville, SC, but she must be re-homed within the next 3 days! Please visit Brian's blog and help spread the word.

I think we had some more news but I've forgotten what it was and Jan's trying to push me out of the typing chair so she can sit in it without squashing me, so if I remember, I'll have to use smoke signals. Until next time -

Me and Charlie LOVE Rex the school kitty! What a star!! what a sweetheart!! Awww and the kids wrote a book about him and made him a castle!! That's just so inspiring!! Yay for Rex!!

ReplyDeleteThe Human wishes another Rex would come to her school! Their school kitteh Fluffy, who was 19 or 20, went to the Bridge about two weeks ago. She had a great kitty life AND she kept any unwanted critters under control :-) (and no, the Human says she doesn't mean the students, MOL!)
