A Pile of Kittens

Merci:  Hey, Cameron, we don't have a post planned for today.  Any idea of what to do?

Cameron:  Hmm, we could tell a joke.  Do you know a joke, Marcus?

Cameron & Merci

Sam:  Marcus doesn't have to know a joke.  He always makes us laugh, don't you, Squirt?

Marcus:  I sure do.  I just wish I knew what's so funny about me. I'd package it and take it on the road.  I could be rich. 

Cyndi:  Okay, if you guys want to tease Marcus, I'll tell a joke.  What do you call a pile of kittens?

Micah:  Laundry.

Rusty:  What kind of fool answer is "laundry"?  Seriously, what do you call a pile of kittens?

Micah:  Oh, what do you call a pile of kittens?  I thought Cyndi asked where you find a pile of kittens.  That's easy.  In the clean laundry pile.

Buddy:  But Cyndi didn't ask where do you find a pile of kittens?  She asked what do you call a pile of kittens?

Percy:  I don't know.  I guess I'd just call them a pile of kittens.\

Cyndi:  *sigh!*  You guys sure know how to ruin a good joke.  You call a pile of kittens a meowntain. 

Weird Positions and Places

Percy: Yesterday we posted a video poking fun at dogs waking up their humans.

Micah:  Unlike us cats, dogs lack finesse when they want attention.

Cyndi:  Yes, we give a light tap on the shoulder

Rusty:  Or a clean bite to the ankle.

Cameron:  Would you guys like us to teach you how to be graceful?

Merci:  No, thank you.  I think we have it covered.

Sam:  Yes, we can be graceful when we want to be.

Marcus:  We just choose not to be.

Buddy:  You cats aren't perfect either.  Here's a video of cats sleeping in ... weird positions and places.

Cyndi:  Happy Sunday to all.

Micah:  We have a fun video for you today.

San:  But first we have to appease Marcus.

Cameron:  What do you mean by appease Marcus?  Have we done something wrong?

Merci:  No, we haven't done anything wrong.  That's just an expression.

Rusty:  It means we have to take care of Marcus-related business first.

Marcus:  Yes, please, let's take care of me first.  Yesterday we posted the original of this photo, along with a sepia and an arty version.  Personally, I like the sepia version the best.  And you all know why.  *whisper*  'Cause I love the color of dirt! 

Buddy:  Today we post this version for the Black and White Sunday blog hop, co-hosted by Golden Sugar and Dachshund Nola.

Percy:  And we have this fun video, guaranteed to make you smile.  There is nothing like a human starting the day with some kisses and cuddles from a furry friend. 

Cyndi:  Yep, kisses and cuddles, a broken nose or two, a cauliflower ear, and ...

Buddy:  Hey, you're exaggerating, Cyndi!  It's not like that at all.

Cameron:  It's not?  Did you actually watch it or are you just making an assumption?

Sam:  Uh, well, we woofies didn't bother watching it yet. 

Merci:  Yeah, dogs waking up their humans.  It has to be a shoulder-tapping, kiss on the nose type of video.

Percy:  Go ahead, delude yourselves, if you want.  The rest of us will watch the reality video.

Marcus:  Reality video?  You mean someone filmed me waking up Jan?

Micah:  You don't video Jan if you value your life!

Rusty:  But if someone had, this might be what they'd see ...

Art Who Day

Rusty: Whoo hoo, it's Saturday again.

Cameron:  What's so great about Saturday?

Merci:  It's Art day.

Micah:  It's Art who day?

Cyndi:  Not who, what?

Micah:  Okay, it's Art what day?

Percy:  Well, for one thing, it's the Sepia Saturday blog hop over at Ruckus the Eskie's.

Marcus:  Wow, I just love me in dirt.  Dirt's the best color there is!

 Sam:  This is the original photo of Marcus in his best just try to get this ball away from me pose.

Buddy:  And this is our Caturday Art version for Athena and Marie's blog.  We blurred the edges to make a frame.

Merci:  We're also going to drop by Feline Art Friday at Kitty Par-TAY.   We know it's Saturday, but we don't do art until the weekend and the blog hop is still open..

Percy:  Yes, we were up late last night listening to the neighbors setting off firecrackers for the 4th of July. 

Marcus:  We canines should go outside late tonight and have a contest to see who can howl the loudest.  That should teach the neighbors to be quiet at our bedtime!
