I will miss my dishwashing companion of nearly 13 years. She usually sat on the washing machine next to the sink, leaned against my arm and purred while I washed dishes.
We are were so sadden when we saw the title of your post and then read where Cotton left for the Bridge. We were unaware that she had been ill and we were caught very off guard at her departure. WE are purring for you Jan and we understand your sadness. Too much. We will miss Cotton and we are truly sorry.
