Woofy Wears Granny Panties

Hey, remember us - Merci, Sam & Buddy?  The kitties have been hogging all the posts for a while now and we want a turn too.  So we're here to remind you what charming, loving, entertaining companions we woofies are.

This cutie is from Dog-shaming.

Have a tail-waggin day!

Heredity and Matching Shoes

Hey, Merci here with today's post.

Some of you might have noticed we've been a bit forgetful lately.  Yeah, we've noticed it too.  But we have a good reason - it's hereditary! And to prove it, we'd all like to share a story.  (I'm just the only one brave enough to type this.)

Yesterday was "one of those days."  Jan ended up running around in circles at the last minute trying to remember what she was doing.  She barely got the spaghetti into a bowl and wrapped in a towel to keep it warm before hot-footing it out to the curb to be picked up by her ride.  She climbed in, took a deep breath and decided to take a quick look to make sure she was actually dressed.  Yep - shirt, jeans, shoes.

Her friend laughed at this and asked, "Do your shoes match?"  (She was joking.)  Jan took a second look at her feet.  Well, you be the judge.

So remember, when we forget, it's not our fault, it's Jan's.

Undigested Undie Return

 Merci, Sam & Buddy

We found a site that has us laughing cause these dogs are actually worse than we are. Jan suddenly realized we've been telling the truth - we are well-behaved.  She said she's so glad she has us instead of some of them.

Merci:  I was 1 or 2 years old when I arrived, so I didn't chew up anything. I was a good girl.

Sam:  I ate part of an antique chair and the corner of a bureau. I am a big boy.  I was also a big puppy, so I broke a spring in the couch from bouncing on it to play with Merci. I also ate a few stuffies and innumerable cat toys.

Buddy:  I ate part of an antique plant stand when I was a pup. And a pair of shoes or two. I ate many a huge bowl of cat food "up high, so I couldn't reach it."  I was a puppy climbing prodigy.

Compared to some of these guys, we were angels!

Visit Dog-shaming.com if you need a laugh or two or twenty.

In case you wonder why Sam posted Monday and we're all posting today, it's because the Funny Farmer Felines get to post on Friday and we haven't been able to post daily.  We don't want you to forget what we woofies look like.  The FFF will be interviewing Nellie and Koxmo Friday.

Dr. Seuss Day Challenge

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

We wanted to participate in the Dr. Seuss Day Challenge but we couldn't think of anything and Jan didn't have time to help us.  But we finally came up with something perfect for us. And we even convinced Jan to create it for us.  So ..... drum roll, please ... here are Percy, Sam, Buddy and Cotton all dressed for Dr. Seuss Day.  Well, sorta, kinda, maybe .... almost.

This event is hosted by Zoolatry and Amber DaWeenie.  Be sure to stop by their blogs and see who else is participating.

Did you have trouble finding your Google account web history after we posted Wednesday, February 29? Some have had a problem finding their web history from the directions in the Facecrooks link. (Facecrooks is a good site, one we try to keep up with because it posts good information on facebook scams.) We had a slight problem when we tried.  It says to "navigate to" but we couldn't find web history until we typed a specific url into the browser. So just in case anyone else is having a problem, we're posting a direct link and detailed directions.

Log into your Google account through gmail or Blogger or other Google app,
1) copy and paste this into your browser -
 http://google.com/history.

This will take you to a page where you will be asked to retype your password before you can enter this part of your profile.

2) There is a history list to the left. You want web history.

Check the little box and click Remove all history. It will then say:

"Remove all Web History for (name of your google account here)
Are you sure you want to clear your entire web history? Your web history will also be paused."

3) click Okay.

It will then say Web History is paused. Your search history is currently empty.

In the upper right you'll see "Your web history is limited to searches." That means you're done. :)

4) Click on drop down menu next to the name of your account in the upper right and click "Sign Out." Do not use the back button.

You are now logged out of your profile but not out of your Google account. So do not try to sign back in on that page.

5) Close that tab or window. Open another tab or window to return to your blog or gmail without having to sign back in.

You're done. You'll have to sign back in to your blog but your web history is cleared and will not be tracking you.

Hope this helps you find and clear your web history before Google initiates privacy changes.

Testing, Testing, Pipes Work

Good morning, Cyndi here.  I want to show you how rudely I was wakened from a sound sleep today.  My nerves are still jitterbugging and my eardrums ringing.

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to find a quiet place to soothe my jangled nerves with a whole pot of catnip tea..
