Cats vs Dogs Owners

Buddy: Hey, Percy, did you see the infographic on the differences between cats vs dog owners?

Percy:  I must have missed it.  Where did you see it?

Buddy:  It's posted on the Entirely Pets blog.  Go check it out.  You'll be rolling on the floor laughing after you read it.

Percy:  Why?  What's so funny about it?

Buddy:  Well, as I was reading it, I couldn't help but compare the cat owners and dog owners to Jan since she shares this house with both species.

Percy:  It must have said those who have cats and dogs are klutzes and can't remember their own name half the time.

Buddy:  Well, no, nothing like that.  But when you read it, think of Jan.  Being a cat "owner" and a dog "owner" (as if she could ever own us cause we'd mutiny!) she's a bit strange.

Percy:  We already know she's strange, so they must have come up with a new angle.

Buddy:  Yep.  She's supposedly imaginative and self-assured.

Percy:  *snort*  You're joking!

Buddy:  Nope.  And she's creative and affectionate.

Percy:  Wellllll, she is creative at is being accident prone.  Affectionate?  She can't remember what she went to the fridge for, let alone remember we're here half the time.  Except for Marcus.  At his age, it's impossible to forget he's here.

Buddy:  She's also intelligent and active in sports.

Percy:  At her age, I'd think she'd be intelligent if she avoids sports. What else?

Buddy:  She's an extroverted loner.

Percy:   Well, if she is an extrovert, she converted while I napped today.  I think we should put out a memo.  No personality changes without our approval!

Buddy:  Oh, and she's an unconventional traditionalist.

Percy:  She's a what?  Are you sure we're talking about Jan?

Buddy:  No, we're not talking about Jan.  That's what's so funny.  In order to live with all of us, she should be filled with confusion and sporting a dual personality.

Percy:  You mean she's not?  I think I should go check out this infographic for myself.  Where did you say I can find it?

Buddy:  Here's the link for the differences between cat and dog owners post.

Sorry, we're far too talkative to ever have a Wordless Wednesday or any other wordless post - unless one of us hit the publish button by mistake - but we're tired of missing out, so we're going imaginary wordless and joining the BlogPaws WW blog hop today.

Saluting Satch

We send a warm hug to our dear friend Miss Pat.  She doesn't have a blog but we consider her as part of this one.  Her furry friend Satch was helped, peacefully, to the bridge yesterday. They had some good years together but good-bye always comes too soon.

We wish her comfort and peace.  And whenever she is ready, a new furry friend to love and to take on walks.

Satch, we salute you.  You were a character.  And you were loved.  We're glad we knew you, even though we never met in the fur.

Black and White Manners

Buddy:  Yesterday we posted the original of this photo with a copy in sepia and a copy with accented edges.  (Check out Luke and His Toys, if you missed them.)  Today we post a copy in black and white.  Luke was black and white, so he looks right at home.

Cyndi:  Marcus, you need to watch this video.  You can learn a lot from this kitty.

Marcus:  Why, is she a teacher?

Micah:  Well, not a certified one, but aren't we all teachers to some extent?

Cameron:  Yes, we should all set a good example for others.  Manners are very important.

Marcus:  I have manners.

Rusty:  Of course you do.  But you have bad manners.

Percy:  When you want something, you're like a bull in a china shop knocking everything over and scratching Jan because you forget how strong you are when you try to get her attention.

Marcus:  That's not bad manners.  That's just being a guy.

Sam:  I'm a very large guy and you even irritate me with your overzealous bids for attention.

Merci:  I'm a senior citizen and you knock me over too.  Please watch the video and learn how to get attention by being sweet and gentle.

Luke and His Toys

Cameron:  Weekends are such fun to post. We get to pick a photo and play with it.

Marcus:  Play?  Where did you leave it?  I'm in the mood to play.

Rusty:  You're always in the mood to play.  Or create havoc.

Sam:  We went back into our 20012 photos and pulled out one of Luke when he was a pup.

Merci:  This is the original.  Like Marcus, Luke loved his toys.  The bigger the pile, the happier he was.

Micah:  I don't understand how all those toys survived Luke only to be killed / destroyed/ dismembered by Marcus the Murderer.

Marcus:  Aw, guys, that's not fair.  Luke went back to his owners when he was younger.  His jaws weren't as strong as mine are.

Cyndi:  He sure grew to be a big guy with big teeth.  Had Luke stayed longer, we might not have had any toys left for when Marcus arrived.

Buddy:  Well, we enjoyed having him here and were sad when he went home to a bad situation.  At least he ended up with humans who love him.  By now he might have a forever home.

Marcus:  I met Luke when he was full-grown.  He looks good in dirt, doesn't he?  I know you guys call this photo sepia but I like dirt better..

Buddy:  As far as you're concerned, everyone looks better in dirt.

Percy:  For Caturday Art we took the original photo and accented the edges.  Gives it a kind of cartoon look.  I like it.  How about you?
