When he does bark it is really LOUD though. But we wouldn't want Mommy to shock him to make him be quiet. And sometimes when a doggie barks there is something wrong silly beans. We didn't want to shock our dog (she was very sensitive) but wanted something to give her an immediate correction. We had a beep only collar.
