Percy Volunteers to Vacuum

Percy: This is me from our Zazzle store. I was sound asleep on the desk at the time and Jan thought I looked so cute and  innocent.

Sunday, we posted on 5 dogs that belonged to a woman in hospice. Her daughter took 3 of the dogs to the shelter and was to return with the other 2. You can read the story here. We updated the post to say we had been told the 3 dogs had been adopted, and like you, we have been concerned about what happened to the other 2.

This evening (we're writing this Tuesday) we received more direct information - a copy of an email from Elizabeth at the shelter. "All of these dogs went out to rescue or on a transport to Weatherford. All three of them are safe and the other two dogs have not come in as of yet." We hope this means the other two are safe and have found a home without having to go through the shelter. We'll keep you posted if we hear any more on them.

“Hair Ye! Hair Ye Contest! featuring the giveaway of two Hoover WindTunnel Pet Hair Vacuums ends on Halloween (Sunday) at Daily Kibble.

We have been asked to feature a contest.  We're going to enter it too. We already entered.  Maybe if we can win Jan a Hoover Pet Vacuum she'll stop complaining about pet hair through the house.

Percy: Wait, what did Jan mean by she'll stop complaining when we start doing the vacuuming around here?  We thought a "pet vacuum" is for humans.  I did NOT volunteer!

No purchase is necessary. All you have to do is register.  Be sure to read the contest rules and also complete giveaway details because, although there is only one entry per person by email address, you can become eligible for an additional entry on Facebook.  We're sorry but the drawing is only open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C. Click for contest registration page.

mom sez, "don't forget--having one of them vacuums don't guarantee a hair-free house. SOMEONE's got to push the darn thing. when you have a drawing for a vacuum AND someone to push it, let me know."
