Today is World Cat Day. Make today a special day for your feline(s).
Okay, this was going to be a light post but just as it published we finished reading Meeshka's post. . One thing we are aware of is that law enforcement protects its own, which is not always a good thing. When there is a violent incident such as a shooting, an off duty officer should not be treated any differently than a civilian. If anyone else would be tested for alcohol and drugs, so should the officer. If you or I would be questioned and investigated, so should the officer. There are far too many casual shooting and killing of family pets by on or off duty officers. We are glad Bear Bear's death is finally being investigated but it was a dreadful botched beginning and a black eye to law enforcement. The whole issue with Bear-Bear should never have happened. So sad.
Cute video! We too are glad Bear-Bear's death is being investigated and getting a lot of media attention. It's very sad that such things happen far too often.
Sure those two know how to have fun together!
I am sure justice for Bear Bear will be served!

We loved your video today - the end where the dog licked the cat's head was terrific and we loved them playing together.
We are hoping that any investigation into Bear-Bear's death is open and truthful - it should never have happened.
Haha! That movie was SO cute! I wish Brudder Ripley would play with me like that. But so far, no luck. No matter how nicely I ask.

Law enforcement people should be held to a higher standard and most that I know feel this way. It's too bad when something like this happens.
Oh my gosh what a great video!!! Gabriel is very gentle with Stanley considering he is many times bigger! I love the end when they are curled up together :-)

Guns just make folks think the worst first - and justified in doing so.
This officer should at least ask the owner's of Bear-Bear's forgiveness...
Until he does, I wouldn't trust any police decision he makes.
