Jessica the Hippo

Cameron here. Jan has been busy on the computer so we haven't had much online time the past few days. But we don't want you to forget us, so we thought we would post something to catch your attention. And Jessica the pet Hippo of a family in South Africa should do just that.

If the video doesn't play, click here.

We are sad to know that Digby is preparing to leave soon for the Rainbow Bridge. And all because of a tick bite. We wish him a journey free of pain, surrounded by those who love him.

There is good news on the two kittens with Cerebellar Hypoplasia we posted on recently. We won't spoil it by telling. You can go read about it here.

We did have a post planned but the photos are still in the camera.
Have a purring and tail wagging day.

Thanks fur the stuff in the post -

I wonder if my mom will get me a hippo or do I just pretend she's mine?

We appreciated woo stopping over to Charlie's blog - his passing was a shokhk last week - the post his mom wrote then was so touching - and then her thanking all of us fur the khomments was something that had to be shared as well

If they brought me two huge pots of coffee every day and gave me a massage before bed, I'd hang out there, too.

Hi Cameron

I am so so so so sad about Digby. I've just been reading their archived posts and have had to stop because I'm tearing up and it's so so sad.

Poor Digby - what a brave and beautiful dog. My heart just grieves for Wilf and Digby's human family. :-(

Thank you for the update to the kitties on kittykye's blog! Great news.

Me and Charlie loved Jessica the Hippo. We love how she gets on with all the dogs and is given sweet coffee and lots of treats. In the kitchen! Wonderful.

Thanks for all this info Cameron!

Take care
