Many of you are aware that their mom's mother died last December. It was a very hard, sad time. But many are unaware that their folks have been going through a really rough time with medical and associated problems. We don't need to know the details, just to be there to support them.
Their mom hasn't visited their blog in some time and likely won't for a while, although she is planning to return to blogging when she can. But we thought we would see if we can't lure them to our blog for a quick visit so they can see that we -- and you -- still care. If not, we will email a copy of everything to them. But one way or another, we want them to know they are all loved and missed. And definitely not forgotten.
So we hereby officially declare this -

Thanks so much for letting us know! Dr. Tweety and the Fab 5 was one of the first kitty blogs we visited and one of the ones that inspired us to keep it up. We are so sad to hear about everything they are going through, and we are sending them lots and lots of purrs and prayers! And we do miss them so much - whenever they are back to blogging (if they are able to come back) we will be there - we have them in our reader and look forward to the day we get an unread for them!!

Well, I am stupid. I checked back in to see if there was an update on Dr. Tweety and the Fab Five, and read through all the comments following mine and realized how terribly insensitive I sounded. I hadn't read all of what's been happening over at their place and now that I know, I just want to apologize. To all of you, my friends, many mea culpas. And to Dr. Tweets and my beeyootiful Delilah..well, I'm on my way over there now to extend my apologies and purrs in purrrrson. I love you all!
We are a little late in joining in but we sure hope and purr that things will improve for Dr T and his family. We miss our special furriends.
