And so, in honor of 3-month-old Violette Noelle, and at the request of her mother, many in the Cat Blogosphere will wear violet Saturday, the day when little Violette - affectionately known as Sprout - will be laid to rest.
We send {{{{hugs}}}} and love to all of Sprout's family. They are in our thoughts and Jan's prayers.
We include {{{{hugs}}}} to all our friends - old and new. We appreciate you and we know losing Sprout has affected all of you too.

That was a very sad ordeal. I do not know their pain and will never be able to know what they are going through. I feel for them very much in my heart, even though I did not know them.
Yes, I check the shelters daily and even sent them a flyer and call all the time. Deetzy is really starting to miss her badly, he whines and cries and then gets angry. He has started to pick on lil gizmo now, wanting him to play with him. I really don't want to get him a puppy of his own, but I think it will help him get through this.
